Year 5 Animations – April 2013

Bible Presentations to Year 3 – October 2011

Queen’s Diamond Jubilee  – May 2012

We celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with some special events, including a Circus Skills Workshop.  The children had a lovely time playing on the bouncy castle and eating ice cream. See more…




Year 5 trip to Cannock Chase Museum – November 2012

The children visited the Cannock Chase Museum as part of their topic on World War 2.  They dressed up in costumes of the time and found out what it would have been like to be in an air raid. Take a look at what interesting things we found…



Shire Oak Showcase – March 2013

Every year we take part in the Shire Oak Showcase as part of Science and Engineering Week.  Year 5 children help at the event by teaching parents and children from other schools about different aspects of Science. (More photographs…)



Year 3 visit to Birmingham Museum – November 2012

The children visited the museum as part of their study of Ancient Egypt.  The children saw many genuine artefacts and enjoyed finding out about life in Ancient Egypt. See more…

  Science Week – 2013

The children learnt lots about Science during our annual Science Week.  They took part in a Forensic Science Workshop.  They also carried out lots of experiments. Year 6 made baths bombs while Year 1 found out which materials would be best for a house for the 3 Little Pigs. More pics…



Chinese New Year – February 2013

Children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 found out about China and the story behind the Chinese New Year.  They made sock dragons and ate Chinese food.  The parents also came to eat with the children. See more…





Multicultural Week – May 2012

Each class found out about a different country in Multicultural Week and shared what they had learnt with the parents and the rest of the children.  Children found out about countries such as Australia and Brazil.  Some children took part in a Skype conversation with Miss Pearcey’s family about life in the United States. St George’s Day – April 2013

The children in Key Stage 1 and the Foundation Stage took part in a celebration of St George’s Day.  They learnt the story of George and the Dragon and created some fantastic writing.  They also enjoyed sausage and chips, a traditional British meal.

 Easter 2013

School Ambassadors

We are very proud of some of our children who give up their time to take on some whole school responsibilities.  Thank you to our school councillors, playground buddies, Eco Buddies and Peer Mediators. See more…

Twycross Zoo – May 2013

Our Reception and Year 1 class enjoyed a lovely trip to Twycross Zoo & Gardens where they encountered many different animal species and were able to engage in many new experiences.

All of our children from Reception class through to Year 6 enjoy reading a vast variety of texts such as classic novels by Charles Dickens to fiction and humour books by a number of different authors. Reading is more enjoyable and fun in our newly revamped Library.

Our children are also able to access literature in the classroom and via our weekly trips to Brownhills Library. See more…

Santa at Chasewater Railway – December 2012

Our Foundation stage and KS1 children enjoyed a Christmas day out to meet Santa at Chasewater Railway. The children particulary enjoyed riding in the carriages of a steam train.

Santa Safari 2013


Our children enjoyed the West Midlands Safari Park ‘Santa Safari’ experience for their Christmas 2013 treat. It was a fun filled day, the children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals and especially the Sea Lion show. More…

Year 3 Maypole Dancing

Our year 3 children have worked very hard learning how to maypole dance. It was lots of fun and the children were able to put on 2 very special shows for their classmates and parents. Click here
