Literacy

Today we are going to be learning about how we as writers can build suspense by using techniques where we choose our words carefully and leave the reader wanting to know more. Join the live lesson where we will learn how to do this. Look at the Powerpoint if you can't join the lesson and complete activity 5 and 6 of the booklet.

Challenge

Choose pictures from the attached sheet and use the ideas that we have talked about this week to build suspense, for eg:

Bang. She froze. Her blood ran cold. She knew something was there, but what was it?

 

Maths

Today our learning outcome will be to find percentages of amounts. This is an important skill if we want to work out what discount we could get in the shops! Please join live lesson and then watch the video and complete the sheet. Have a go at the challenge if you finish.
