Homework

As well as reading 3 times a week you children will recieve weekly spellings, timetables and an additonal piece of homework related to what they are doing in class. To ensure spellings are throughly learnt it helps to practise them. The sheet sent home suggests daily practise. Children could also write sentences using a spelling from the list to help to use them in context. Timestables can be practised online using times table rockstars. each child will reiceve a log in to practise and earn coins. The focus will be on the 10, 2 and 5 times tables.

Children will take part in weekly spelling and times table tests in school to check their progress.
