Maths time

*Build a tower using 6 blocks. Take one away. How many now? Take another one away. How many now? Put two bricks on. How many now?

You can repeat this lots of times. Putting on or removing bricks, asking each time "How many?"

*Play skittles. How many have you knocked over? Can you draw how many you have knocked over on a piece of paper? Another great game for practising counting skills.

*Take a good look around your home. What things can you find that are circle shape?

Today's maths video is session 4.

The follow up activity involves sorting buttons into two groups. Again you can print off the activity and complete that or you could use buttons you have at home. You can use anything that can be sorted into two groups.
