Speech and Language Resources
We are certainly in the middle of very strange times and while part of me would like to tell you to make memories and have fun, I know that parents want to feel that they are doing something constructive and practical to help if they have a child with speech language and communication needs. Here is a short list of things that you will find useful; there are some websites and a list of apps which are great.
-
Lots of things are free from Twinkl twinkl.co.uk check out the blank level activities especially
-
Lots of useful leaflets https://www.royalwolverhampton.nhs.uk/services/service-directory-a-z/speech-and-language-therapy-children/useful-leaflets/
If you have that spare minute read with them, share a book together so much learning and communication skills are learnt through this!
Use the cards to pictures to practise putting teddy under, on, next to the table or chair.
Look at the fox and tell a grown up where the fox is.
