Reading task - sounds chart, green words, red words, read the story. Today the story should be read with less 'Fred talk'. Now read the story to your child. Read the story again, missing out the word at the end of the sentence - we call this 'jumping in'. Your child will follow you reading (with their eyes on the page DON'T POINT) and read the word you miss out. This helps them gain fluency and become speedy readers. :)

  1. Draw the evil that came out of the box
  2. This picture has been set as a 2do on purple mash. When you have finished drawing, don’t forget to save before you exit so I can see your work. I can then add on your dojos.
  3. Share this story with someone at home. Tell them about the characters and what happened.
  4. Complete the purple mash 2do: Pandora’s Box your opinion. Write an opinion about this story. What did you like or not like about this story? Why?
