Hello everyone,

Thank you for the wonderful messages and pictures you have been sending in. It has been lovely to see what you have been getting up to, and well done adults, keep up the good work! It looks like last week was very productive and super positive.

Stay safe

Grab a book, sit with an adult and see if you can find these things:

An animal

A picture of a flower

Someone helping someone else

A bug

Someone sleeping

A character eating

A cat

A dog

A superhero

A bike

Good luck!

Please remember that talking with your child is VERY important at this age, so please keep talking!

*Can your child say sentences using the words he/him/his/her/she? You could could model this for them and they could repeat, for example, when you are reading a book, "The girl is very sad, she has hurt her knee."

A few ideas for after you have watched the shape song.Talk about the shapes properties.

A circle has 1 curved side

A square has 4 sides that are all the same length and 4 corners

A triangle is our pointy shape with 3 sides and 3 corners

A rectangle has 2 long sides, 2 short sides and 4 corners.

Can you spot any of these shapes around your home or in a book?

Count how many you find.

A few Easter ideas (Please don't worry if you don't have these kinds of things at home. You DO NOT need to go out and buy anything)

*Paint an egg

*Make an Easter bonnet

*Draw and colour in a picture of an Easter egg, chick or bunny.

Please take pictures if you can. They are lovely to see.
