Good morning Year 5, Mrs Daren here, hope you are all well

and ready for today's learning!

I'll start with my joke for the day.

Why did the teddy bear say no to dessert? 

Because she was stuffed! 

Have a look at the literacy task, work through the activities, there are examples to help you.

Thank you for all your hard work and remember to fit in some exercise.

Wednesday 22nd April

Hi Year 5. Hope you are all ok. Your English work for most of you today is on relative clauses. Remember we did them in class last term?

If you get a text from me, you will be doing to activity on the Trolls story. 

For your maths learning, you will be continuing to learn about reading and writing decimals. If you get a text from me, you will do sheet 3a. Continue to learn about the planets and send me pictures of your planets drawings.

So far Mateuesz is in the lead on Class Dojo but some of you are catching him up! Keep sending me your work; I love to see what you are doing.

Well done to all of you who sent me photos of your amazing work done yesterday. I was so impressed with all your writing!

Keep your pictures coming on Class Dojo and remember you can message me if you need any help with you work or even just to say hello. 

This is our Science topic Year 5. 

I have included an information sheet but there are lots of websites you can go on. First we will be learning about the planets. Purple Mash has lots of space activities too that you can go on. 

Maybe you can think of some exciting ways to present your learning, eg 3d models of some of the planets?
