Good morning year 4.  Today, we will be planning our writing about an alien visiting another planet.  In maths, I have included some problem solving and reasoning linked to symmetry.  In science, I would like you to take a walk around your house; how many objects use electricity?  How many times a day do you use electricity?  Is it an essential use of electricity or a non-essential use of electricity?  Record your ideas on the sheet.

Good morning year four.  Here is your learning for today.  Thank you those of you who sent me your writing on class dojo; I really enjoyed reading them.

English- We are continuing our learning on aliens.

Maths-  Today we are looking at symmetry and symmetrical shapes and pictures. 

I have also uploaded some mosaic maths if you fancy having a go.

Topic- I have uploaded a Roman vase.  Design a mosaic picture to complete the vase.  There is also a word search for fun.

English- Today, we will be learning how to start a newspaper report about aliens.

Maths- We will be looking at symmetry.

Science- Today we will be considering what we already know about electricity and what electricity is.

Maths- We are looking at 2D shapes and their properties.  Do have a look at BBC Bitesize and there are some good online games.

Topic- I have included some facts on Roman mosaics and some ideas for you to have a go or you could design your own mosaic.  Please do email me/ send me any photos.
