We have been learning about prepositions. Have a look on the PowerPoint for some work linked to prepositions. Please complete the spelling activity on p58 of your work book.
Maths
Today we are looking at angles. You need to revise the types of angles- look on the PowerPoint. Then please complete p54 and 55 of your workbook.
Extra challenge: Extra activity and a game on the PowerPoint.
Topic
We have been learning about Roman emperors. Please write five fascinating facts about Roman emperors. You can display these facts how you want- on a poster etc.

Today we are learning about prepositions.
The activity is on p9 of your workbook. I have also uploaded a PowerPoint, a song and a video clip to help you.
A preposition is a word that tells you where or when something is in relation to something else. Examples of prepositions include words like after, before, on, under, inside and outside.
Extra challenge: preposition sheets- you can choose your level.
Maths
In maths we are adding and subtracting money and solving money problems. The activities are on pages 48 and 49 of your workbook.
Extra challenge: Money problems (there are three levels so you can choose the most appropriate level for you. The answers are also provided.)
Topic
I would like you to be able to name some Roman emperors. I have uploaded a PowerPoint on Roman society and a video clip about Roman emperors.
Write the names of the Roman emperors in the video clip.

Feel like getting arty? You could make a collage out of 2D shapes.

Today we will be skimming and scanning a text for words that give us information about the setting. You will be highlighting what Sammy can see and drawing a picture of it. There is more information on the PowerPoint. Then try p8 of your workbook on adverbs.
Adverbs
- Lata sings sweetly.
- He is always late for the class.
- The school bell rang loudly.
- We must eat our food slowly.
- The horse galloped fast.
The words in bold. All these words (slowly, sweetly, always, loudly, fast) tell something more about the way in which the action is being performed). Such words are known as Adverbs.
Extra challenge: Try an activity on the adverbs sheet-there are three levels to choose from.

Today we are looking at characters specifically goblins. Look on the PowerPoint then invent your own goblin characters. Draw them then describe their key characteristics.
Maths
Today we are learning to count in multiples.
Multiples are really just extended times tables. The multiples of 2 are all the numbers in the 2 times table, such as 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and so on. Multiples of 2 always end with a 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0.
Please do p6 of your workbook.
